November 4, 1958, Daily Camera, Everson Sends Murder Details to California
Sheriff Arthur T. Everson today sent information to California authorities as a basis for further questioning of a murder suspect.
Los Angeles police said Harvey M. Glatman, 30-year-old former Denver man and confessed slayer of three models, denied he killed a girl whose body was found in Boulder Canon in 1954.
The Boulder Sheriff, however, is not yet convinced. He asked officials in Santa Ana County, California, to question Glatman again, using details of the case which Everson furnished.
Los Angeles authorities said lie detector tests apparently cleared Glatman of three Colorado murders about which he was questioned. Sheriff Everson said he hoped a more effective lie detector test could be conducted if the questions included details surrounding the homicide.
The blonde girl, about 19 years old, whose nude and battered body was dumped over an embankment beside the Boulder Canon highway, was never identified. Everson believes she was killed somewhere else, perhaps in Denver, and her body taken by car to the point where it was found.
