Condition: exposed to the elements for a week or more; no clothing or identification.
Description: slender, 110 pounds, 62-63."
Age: originally estimated at 20, but now that she has been identified as Dorothy Gay Howard, we know she was 18.
Burial: Columbia Cemetery, April 22, 1954.
Case revisited: February 2004: then remains exhumed, skull reassembled, DNA profiled, facial reconstruction sculpted, case shown on America's Most Wanted, and photo-superimposition.
Probable murderer: Harvey Glatman.
Remains reburied: September 2008.
