April 21, 1954 Daily Camera, Funeral Services Thursday for Murdered Girl
Funeral services for the young woman whose body was found in Boulder CaƱon will be held at 2 Thursday afternoon in the chapel of Howe Mortuary. Rev. Paul Fife, of the Sacred Heart church, will officiate.
Interment will be in Columbia Cemetery in a private lot purchased by sympathetic citizens of Boulder. Ten of the circles of the First Methodist church have contributed $2.50 each. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Steele donated $10; A. A. Paddock $5, Tom Barry $2, Francis Gilmore, Patrolman Godfrey, and several others who requested their names not be used, $1 each.
If there is a deficit in the fund, The Camera will pay the shortage. Contributions will be accepted until noon Thursday. As stated Tuesday the cost of the lot and its preparation is $95.
